Hello and welcome to WorkBootsGuru.com. My name is Jack and I’m on a mission to give you actionable advice to be happy and successful in your skill trade job.

WorkBootsGuru.com was created with the goal to provide workers easy-to-understand advice on skill trade jobs.

I was frequently frustrated with the lack of information online about these topics. I wanted WorkBootsGuru.com to be special and that’s why I made a commitment to myself to making sure our tips can be followed by regular laborers with busy lives and tough jobs.

My Story

Jack Sanders

I grew up on a farm in Minnesota. I had a very average childhood with my two older brothers. Years passed by and I started learning skills on construction and roofing thanks to my dad, who transmitted me the passion for working with my hands.

After I got married, I kept working in different types of skilled trade jobs: construction worker, roofer, electrician, plumber etc. It was such a gradual thing that I never really noticed it how much involved I was in giving my co-workers advice on various topics about working in construction and other industries! Since then I’ve started working towards giving people advice, which is my final passion.

And that is how WorkBootsGuru.com was created.

It took me a lot of trial and error to finally make this site, and I’m grateful that I have a chance to share my thoughts and advice with so many people. In the years since I started, my team and I have helped thousands of people lead happier lives and progress towards their own careers on skilled trade jobs.

Today’s internet is filled with cheap and low-quality content. That’s not helping anyone.

Given that there is so much misinformation out there with regards to advice on trade skilled workers, me and my team at WorkBootsGuru.com have lined out some simple principles that every trade skilled worker should follow.

This is so I can provide you with a single place to get your work advice, without all the confusion that you might find elsewhere.

How do we make our articles?

1. We gather questions

We gather all the questions related to one topic. Whether that’d be an informational post or a product review, we aim to answer all the questions about it.

2. We do the research

We do extensive research and testing. The objective here is to find all the answers to the questions we collected in the previous step. It takes us about 30 to 60 hours to do this.

3. We write the articles

Our team of writers gets together with our research team and discuss the best way to approach each article. Once everything is figured out, the team of writers writes the article.
