Quick Comparison Table
Remember To Always Maintain The Leather Of Your Logger Boots
In conclusion, it’s not enough to buy the best logger boots. You’ll also need to keep them in good condition so that they can be more durable for you, otherwise they will break apart in a few months.
In order to help you, let me share with you a couple of tips for maintaining your logger boots:
- Store in well-ventilated and dry place.
- Apply waterproofing spray, wax or cream at least twice a month depending on their exposure to water.
- Daily clean them.
- Use of conditioning oil once they start cracking and old.
Features I Think The Best Logger Boots Must Have
Tough Protection
Most work boots are fairly protective, but many workers out there require an additional layer of protection. And, for those workers, logger boots are the answer.
The first feature they would need to look in a pair of work boots would be a safety steel toe as it protects your toes in the event of a heavy load falling on them. But, also going for a great quality outsole wouldn’t be such a bad idea as this feature provides traction and a great slip and abrasion resistance.
Reliable Durability
To find a logger boot that is durable in this market, you will have to look out for certain types of features.
First, a durable logger boot must be made from materials of high quality that can endure extreme circumstances. The stitching of the shoe should be done excellently, which will avoid the wearing and tear of the boot.
On top of that, a logger boot that is waterproof is an added advantage by itself. If I wear a boot that is waterproof, any liquid will be prevented from getting inside. Therefore, I know I will prevent blisters and uncomforted, which I know, in my case, is a deal-breaker!
Impressive Comfort
The materials used to make logger boots must ensure their durability as this is a staple in this branch of footwear. But, these materials are known for being bulky and sturdy, making the logger boots heavy in the minds of most workers.
Knowing that they typically work in shifts of twelve–hours a day, their boots need to stay comfortable for extended periods of time.
The solution to this problem is wearing logger boots that have cushioned footbeds and properly designed midsoles, that are able to provide shock-absorption and great support in every step of the worker’s way.
How Did I Look For The Five Best Logger Boots in The Market?
It’s hard to find logger boots that are comfortable, durable and protective at the same time, right?
To come up with this list I had to do a test process as well as a really well-developed research on most of the logger boots being offered in the market.
I tested them in tough indoors and outdoors environments with real demanding conditions, in order to replicate most of the worker’s requirements.
I focused on the three features I talked you about previously and I’m confident that the list of the 5 best logger boots in this article is well tested and researched on.
You haven’t tested redwings and there logger Chippewa logger falls apart you should look at there page on Facebook why no test of redwing logger

The BEST Logger Boots hands down are American Made Nick’s boots. I would rather buy a pair of Nick’s than be given any of the boots in this article. The materials used to make these lesser quality boots are inferior to the material used in Nick’s. Nick’s are hand crafted by people that know boots. Over the years plumbing I’ve own many different boots listed in this article but you only need buy one pair of Nick’s.
